Internship Opportunities

Communications Internship
Do you have what it takes to become a Communications Intern? Are you a University of Florida or Santa Fe College student majoring in journalism, public relations, advertising, graphic design or a related field? Do you like to write, participate in local government, blog regularly, gather information, edit copy, write, design publications, meet interesting people, work on deadline? Are you organized and motivated? Are you willing to work to gain experience, not income? If so, then you may be who we're looking for. Still interested? Why not give us a call or, better yet, send your cover letter/resume via email to:

Broadcast Internship
The Broadcast Services Division offers a broadcast internship option. Become an intern and valued member of Community 12TV, Your Local Government Connection, the official local government cable access channel for the City of Gainesville/Alachua County. Gain experience operating professional broadcast equipment, writing broadcast copy, and hone your video editing skills using state of the art digital editing applications. City broadcast producers will monitor your work and offer constructive insights to help you gain the edge over the competition. Attach your cover letter (marked broadcast internship)/resume and send them via email to:
